The Problem
Miami Design Group walked into a remarkably crowded South Florida market where high-income zip codes and high design standards are the baseline. Covering Miami-Dade County meant competing against long-standing local firms in places like Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, and Miami Beach for the attention of homeowners who expect perfection. The challenge was not a lack of talent. They had incredible craftsmanship, dual showrooms, and a full in-house construction team. The real hurdle was simply that they were new on the block, and their digital presence did not yet reflect the high-end reality of their physical work. They needed a bridge between the gorgeous experience of walking into their showroom and the reality of a homeowner searching online for custom home solutions.
The Goals
The main objective was simple: make Miami Design Group look and feel like the go-to authority for luxury design and installation across South Florida. When homeowners are looking at a major kitchen overhaul, motorized window treatments, or an outdoor living space, they need to feel absolute trust in who they hire. The goal was to show potential clients that Miami Design Group keeps everything under one roof, handling the heavy lifting from initial design and permits all the way to the final walkthrough, so clients only ever have to deal with one reliable team.
The Gameplan
Getting traction across South Florida’s most exclusive neighborhoods meant teaming up with Hozio to build an online presence that felt as polished as their physical work. Hozio took over search, content, and local presence for Miami Design Group in May 2025. The strategy leaned heavily into what makes them unique, such as combining design and construction under one roof, taking the headache out of permits, and handling complex home automation and motorized shading projects. Hozio organized the campaign around how people search locally, pairing visual storytelling with search engine optimization tailored specifically to affluent neighborhoods across Miami-Dade County.
Localized SEO
In luxury spots like Sunny Isles Beach, Aventura, and Brickell, local search is all about context. Hozio targeted high-intent searches by tying service pages directly to the unique architectural character of Miami neighborhoods, whether that meant leaning into Mediterranean Revival in Coral Gables, Art Deco in South Beach, or tropical contemporary living in Coconut Grove. By matching search queries for custom window treatments, smart home automation, and upscale remodeling to the specific ways people live in these areas, Miami Design Group started showing up right when local homeowners went looking for top-tier contractors.
After fifteen months, the campaign has driven major growth. The site now ranks on the first page of Google for 1,357 out of 1,934 tracked keywords, a huge jump from just 317 at the start, and terms where the site was completely invisible dropped by about eighty percent. Top-tier rankings saw massive gains, leaping from 288 to 1,046 keywords in the top five spots. On top of that, miamidesigngroup.com grabbed 12.46 percent of the visibility for its main tracked keywords, making it the second most dominant domain in its group.

GMB & Showroom Optimization
Showing up in search results is only half the battle. When you deal in high-end craftsmanship, people need proof that you are legitimate. Hozio tuned up Miami Design Group’s Google Business Profile to make sure contact details, operating hours, high-resolution project photos, and showroom locations were crystal clear. Getting those local signals right built an immediate sense of trust for both search engines and prospective clients, making it smooth for a homeowner to go from browsing online to visiting a showroom or booking an on-site consultation.
Today, Miami Design Group runs two verified showroom locations (Sunny Isles Beach at 18190 Collins Ave and Hallandale Beach at 2520 SW 30th Ave), both maintaining a 4.9-star rating across 98 total reviews. Over a trailing six-month window, these combined profiles generated 877 direct profile interactions, with the Sunny Isles location alone drawing 541 profile views per month. Both profiles maintain active weekly Google posts featuring clear “Call now” and “Learn more” calls to action.

AI Growth & Digital Authority
Today’s luxury homeowners do not just use traditional search engines anymore. They lean heavily on AI platforms and conversational search tools to vet high-end contractors and narrow down options without clicking through a dozen websites. Hozio rolled out a content strategy designed to make sure Miami Design Group showed up naturally within those AI experiences. By building genuine digital authority that engines like Google AI Mode, Gemini, and Perplexity recognize and trust, the brand cemented its reputation as a thought leader in South Florida interior design and smart home tech.
Early tracking shows the brand is already showing up inside emerging AI search tools, including ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, with strong growth pointing toward closing gaps like Google AI Overviews. At the same time, online authority grew from scratch, with referring websites jumping from just 15 up to 642, bringing the Domain Rating to 27.
